OWNER AWARDED DAMAGES United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received June 30, 9.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 30 In the case in which Henry Edgar Russell claimed £2OOO from the Sydney transport authorities because of an injury the horse Mala allegedly suffered before the running of the Derby, the jury returned a verdict in favour, of Russell, who was awarded £l5OO damages, A stay of the proceedings was granted.
