AIRWAYS SHARES

QUESTION RAISED IN PARLIAMENT United Press Association—Bv Electric Tel ee r n nh —Cop vr 1 eh t (Received July 1, 12.40 a.m.) LONDON, June 30. Tlie affairs of Imperial Airways were the subject of a question in the House of Commons, Mr Herbert Morrison asking whether in view of the prosperous condition of the company as revealed in the course of the recent, legal proceedings, the subsidy will be discontinued. It is pointed out that ordinary shareholders received dividends and bonuses from six to eight per cent., and it is feared that a disproportionate amount of the taxpayers money may be devoted during the term of the new agreement to the distribution of dividends.
