CONDITIONS IN TIMARU After light rain during the night, yesterday was overcast and cold. There was only a moderate frost, so that although the maximum temperature was but 43.2 degrees, conditions appeared to be milder. Another light shower fell in the evening but was of short duration. Records at Timaru Park yesterday were:— Barometer—3o.3l. Max. temp.—43.2. Min. temp, on grass—3o. Frost—2 degrees. Wind—W.l. Rain—Trace. Rainfall to date this year—l2.B4in. Rainfall to date last year—l7.l3in. Sunshine—Nil. Sunshine to date this year—936.Bhrs.
