DENTAL COUNCIL
NOMINATIONS RECEIVED By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, June 30. Four nominations, two from the North Island and two from the South, have been received by the authorities for election to the New Zealand Dental Council to be established under the Dentists Act passed in the last session of Parliament. One representative from each island will be elected by registered dentists in the respective islands by a postal ballot during July. The nominations which closed to-day, are (North Island)? John Norman Rishworth (Auckland) and Ernest Gordon Bender (Wellington). South Island: Owen Vivian Davies (Dunedin) and Douglas Vernon Donaldson (Christchurch). The two members returned as a result of this poll will be the only elective members of the Council. It is presumed that the Government will avail the result of the election before appointing its nominees.
