EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE There was a fair attendance at the fortnightly euchre and dance held in the Howard Hall. The prizes were won as follow: Women, Miss Tinkler 1. Miss B. Harris 2. Men, Mr W. Foster 1, Mr Tinkler 2. Music for the dancing was supplied by Mr J. Chapman. Mr W. Foster was M.C. McDonald 72, A. Brown 70, R. Phillips 69, L. Johnston 68, D. McSweeney 67, E. Bateman 66, T. Leary 66, W. Kerr 63, D. Tinkler 61. PERSONAL Mrs A. Simpson, Te Poi, North Island, who has been the guest of Mrs W. Inglis, is at present spending a holiday in Timaru.
