LATE MRS A. L. GEE

THE FUNERAL Floral tributes from well-known residents of Timaru and surrounding districts were forwarded as a last tribute when the funeral of the late Mrs Lawrence Gee took place yesterday afternoon. The service at St. Mary’s Church was conducted by Archdeacon H. W. Monaghan, whence the long line of cars forming the cortege made Its way to the Timaru Cemetery. Those who followed the funeral included many who have been prominent in the civic life of the town, and the following was a tribute to the esteem in which the late Mrs Gee and her husband, who is an ex-Councillor and one-time clerk of the Rlccarton Borough, have been held.
