WILL AUSTRALIA MAKE REDUCTION? United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, May 6. The result of the excellent export season this year, which is expected to increase the Australian reserve funds in London by about £10,000,600, and the possibility of a reduction in the prevailing rate of exchange on London are being informally reviewed in official quarters. It is officially stated at Canberra that there is no possibility of the Commonwealth Government considering an alteration in the exchange rates, as the result of the improvement in the Australian overseas trade balance, which is slightly over £30,000.000.
