BRISTOL CUP MATCH TEAMS SELECTED The annual match for the Bristol Oup, between the premier teams in the districts ol the South Canterbury Cricket Association and the Mid-Can-terbury Cricket Association, will take place on the Ashburton Domain oval on Saturday, commencing at 10.45 a.m. The trophy is at present held by Fairfield, but the defenders will be Ashburton A, the winning team in the MidCanterbury competition. The challengers are Old Boys A, the South Canterbury Association’s premier club team. The Timaru players will travel to Ashburton on Saturday morning. The teams have been selected as follows: Ashburton J. B. Nicoll, J. Pritchard, P. Harper, J. Dillon, J. H. Browne, G. Craig, R. Biggar, J. Wood, M. Keeley, A. A. Todd. Timaru Old Boys J. B. Morrison, E. W. Lee, C. K. Saxton, N. Riley, R. Fear, G. Davies, A. Rollinson. W. McDonald, E. C. Earwaker, A. W. Souter and F. S. Thomson. TEAMS FOR TO-MORROW West End Juniors v. Star, School Park No. 1, 1.45—W. Bradley, W. Tubb, W. Pateman, I. Cameron, A. Ross, R. Raines, J. Garr, G. Moore, A. Spence, A. Cameron, F. Stare. MATCH CANCELLED The match between High School and Geraldine seniors, whicn was to have been played on the Rectory ground tomorrow, has been cancelled. M.C.C. TEAM FOR TO-DAY The M.C.C. team to play the combined Canterbury-Otago team is— Wyatt (captain), Hammond, Ames, Copson, Duckworth, Fames .Fishlock, Leyland, Sims, Voce, Worthington and Hardstaff (twelfth man). Allen the M.C.C. captain, is unable to play because of an ankle injury received in Australia.
