FIVE MILLIONS AIMED AT By Xeiegrapn— htpp.® Association ROTORUA, March 11. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr W. E. Barnard, who is concluding a tour of the Dominion In the interests of the Five Million Club, in an interview to-day, stated that he was very pleased with the result of his tour and the response of the people to his advocacy of the necessity for increasing the Dominion’s population. Mr Barnard, during his visit to Rotorua, inspected the military units in camp at Awara Park and addressed the men on behalf of the Minister of Defence (Hon. F. Jones). Mr Barnard, who inspected the various phases of training operations, congratulated the men on their enthusiasm and efficiency.
