Opium valued at 300,00 dollars was seized in one of the largest customs raids in New York. Six hundred tins were removed from the freighter Taybank, on arrival from Shanghai. Seven men were t.yested. The customs officials declare they have finally succeeded in breaking up an important, international smuggling ring.
