Wayville and Wrinkel beat Speedy Boy and Evicus in a dead heat, by 12 yards, the time being 2.11 4-5. Lawn Derby easily beat Kilect by eight yards in 2.14. Messrs S. McEwin, D. G. Glanville and J. R. McKenzie, of New Zealand, are unanimous regarding Lawn Derby’s merits and consider that he would beat Indianapolis. The Wayville pair should provide a wonderful race in New Zealand and they should run a mile in time round 2mins.
