DAIRY ACT INFRINGED

UNCERTIFICATED MANAGER By Telegraob—Pres. Association DUNEDIN, January 29. The first case of its type in the Dominion involving a breach of the Dairy Industry Act was brought this morning, when the Omimi Dairy Factory was charged with employing Morris Raymond Gale as manager when he did not possess a certificate. Gale also was being charged. It was explained that the case had been brought to apprise dairy factories of their obligations, a heavy penalty not being sought. Gale had since satisfied the certificate requirements without difficulty. Defendants were ordered to pay Court costs.
