Although the local Pan-American office disclaimed knowledge of the reports from San Diego, Honolulu persisted that the commander of the China Clipper (Captain Edwin Musick) is planning a flight to survey a route to New Zealand. Captain Musick is known to be at Alameda with the ’plane. It is believed that the reports are well founded, because the Niagara took four Pan-American Airways men with supplies southward from Honolulu. The preparations may be delayed because the supply ship North Wind is strike bound at Honolulu, where she called to replenish fuel and water after visiting stations. nearing agreement STATEMENT BY BRITISH AIR MINISTRY Onlted Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received January 29, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 28.
