LATEST ADVICES The Union Company collier Kaimai arrived from Dunedin yesterday morning to discharge coal, and proceeded tc Lyttelton about 10.30 last night. While she was in port the Harbour Board dredge 350 was taken alongside to coal. The Breeze was the only other arrival. She called from Oamaru to lift Wellington and Wanganui cargo and sailed again last evening for Lyttelton. ARRIVALS January 29 Kaimai, s.s., 1435 tons (Bennett), from Dunedin. (Union S.S. Co.). On Monday she is to load for Wellington, Wanganui and New Plymouth before sailing for Lyttelton. The Waimarino is set down to lift Wellington and Auckland shipments at Timaru on Tuesday. She is expected from Dunedin and should sail the same night for Lyttelton. The Gale should be here from Dunedin on Tuesday. After taking Wellington Picton and Wanganui cargo, she is to sail via Lyttelton. Marama Transhipments In the Marama arriving at Dunedin on Tuesday from Melbourne, will be transhipments from the following vessels:—Oronsay, Mooltan, Moreton Bay, Port Dennison, Tudor Mamari, and Autolycus. Port Alma Homeward Bound The Port Line’s motor-ship Port Alma left Wellington on Wednesday evening for London, via Cape Hom and Teneriffe. Hororata at Curacao The Federal Company has had cabled advice that the Hororata, which left Wellington on December 30 for Great Britain, cleared Curacao on Monday. Tongariro Arrives Home The Federal Company has been advised by cable that the Tongariro, which left Napier on December 19 reached London on Tuesday morning. Hertford in Ballast The Federal steamer Hertford is reported by cable to have left Glasgow in ballast for New Zealand, to load Homeward on the coast. She is due about March 6.
