LIVERPOOL MINE IDLE By Tplpfrraph —Pres? Association GREYMOUTH. December 21. The Liverpool state mine is idle today as a result of a dispute regarding the payment for the King's birthday. The dispute also affects the James State mine. It is understood that the men’s demand for payment was refused by Minister of Mines. The men went to the Liverpool mine this morning. but returned home. Shiftmen at the James mine are working to-day, but will come out tonight.
