A particularly fine specimen of the printer’s art has been produced by Mr Hector C. Matheson. Stafford Street, in connection with the forthcoming lawn tennis championships. There is combined with the official programme a series of views of Timaru, a gallery of past and present New Zealand champions, Davis Cup winners and complete list of entries and placements. The front cover is a trichromatic design with Miss Helen Wills as the central figure, the whole making a real souvenir of the occasion. The Railway Department advise that owing to the Temuka sports being abandoned the train arrangements advertised on December 21. have now been cancelled.
