MONA VALE SCHOOL
BREAK-UP CEREMONY The annual break-up of the Mona Vale School was held to the school grounds on Thursday. The afternoon was spent in games and sports. A very exciting treasure hunt was won by John Hogg. Icecreams, fruit and sweets were in plentiful supply, and everybody did ample justice to them. Mr W. R. Davison, chairman of the school committee, in a humorous speech, wished all present the compliments of the season, before calling on Mrs McNaughton to present the pries.
Novelty events were won by Miss E Cooper, Mrs Rapsey and Mr Ro; Davison.
The prize list was as follows: Form I: Marie Connelly, Jean McKerchar. John Hog". Std. IV: Kevin Naughton, Andrew Mackay, Frances Struthers, Dorothy Connelly.
Std. Ill: Ron Connelly, Alex. Davison.
