TENDERS FOR AMERICAN GRANT United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 26, 7.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, November 26. The Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation of New York, with six alternate proposals, ranging from 16,604,000 dollars to 21,312.000 dollars was the sole bidder for the American Navy’s new floating dry dock at Pearl harbour. It will be the world’s largest dock of the kind, being 1,016 feet long and 45,000 tons. Mr Wanson said that bids were high, and the Navy would consider building the dock in its own yards on the Pacific.
