PRICES FAVOUR SELLERS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received September 23, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, September 22. At the wool sales, 9018 bales were offered, including 5630 from New Zealand. A total of 7940 bales were sold. There was a moderate selection, largely of New Zealand crossbreds, which were strongly competed for and well cleared, chiefly to the Home trade, at prices favouring sellers. Inferiors were frequently withdrawn. New Zealand lots sold as follows: Greasy halfbred, Wairewa (top price, 16d), average 14Ad; slipe halfbred lambs, T.B.S. in diamond. Canterbury (top price 17d), average 14? t d.
