FLOUR MILL EMPLOYEES By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, September 3 The Arbitration Court, in Judgments on applications for amendments of awards relating to the northern flour mills’ employees and employees in the Canterbury flour, oatmeal and pearl barley mills, states that the parties agreed that the hours be 40 a week, also that the rates of wages of the northern flour mills employees be the same as under the Canterbury flour mills award. An order was made by the Court that a 40-hour week and permission to work on Saturdays shall apply to the employees of Hayward Bros., Christchurch, in the starch making branch.
