WOODBURY EX-PUPILS
RE-UNION BALL The annual re-union ball held by the Woodbury ex-pupils in the Coronation Hall. Woodbury, on Wednesday evening proved an outstanding success. The hall was tastefully decorated with multi-coloured streamers and green foliage, and lively music was supplied by a local orchestra. The committee responsible for the success of the dance comprised: Misses A. Harris, G. Heney, E. Flfield and Messrs J. Fifield (chairman), M. L. Wooding (secretary), D. Fifield, A. Thompson, J. Brown, R. Brown, W. Harris and B. Brunton. During the evening, Mr George Thompson (Wellington), delighted the dancers by singing “The Floral Dance” and “Because.”
A lucky spot waltz was won by Miss H. Padgett and Mr V. Stonyer and a Monte Carlo waltz by Miss D. McEvey and Mr J. Robertson.
