ITALY'S ACTIVITIES EXPOSED GERMAN LEADERS IN COLLABORATION AMAZING DOINGS AT TANGIER United Press Association -Hv siecuto Telegraph - Uopvrigr t The diplomatic correspondent of “The Manchester Guardian” jays that collaboration between the Germans, Italians and rebels goes on all the time. Rebel ships are coaling from German vessels. Britain is not hopeful of stopping such clandestine aid, but the pact of non-intervention will at least keep it within limits. The Tangier correspondent of “The News Chronicle” says that the indiscretions of the Italian President of the International commission at Tangier, Signor Rossi di Leon Nero, whose activities were discussed at a secret meeting of the Commission, are causing alarm. Signor Rossi has undertaken Consular duties for General Franco, at which the French vigorously protested. Signor Rossi also replaced the Spanish president of the port police with an Italian. Hardly a night passes without General Franco's of cers visiting Signor Rossi’s offires. There seems no doubt but Italy is extending influence over Morocco. The people are wondering if she once gets a foothold who will get her out. Italian warships landed large quantities of munitions for Signor Rossi’s legation. A sailing vessel on the night of August 8 landed machine guns and four tons af ammunition at Alhucemas Pay, which was immediately conveyed to Ceuta.
