STAY-IN STRIKE
FRENCH CABINET ISSUES WARNINGS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, July 7. M. Selengro (Minister for the Interior) informed the Senate that the Government would no longer tolerate stay-in strikes, and would, if they continued to July 8, employ all appropriate methods to terminate them. The Senate passed a motion of confidence in the Government by 230 to 1 votes. Since the strikes began 1303 agents provocateurs have been arrested, and 1106 expulsion orders issued.
