TEMUKA LADIES’ CLUB DISBANDS Following in the footsteps of the men’s club, the Temuka Ladies’ Hockey Club at its annual meeting on Monday evening decided to disband. That action was taken because of a lack of players and the inability to secure a suitable ground. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £5. A vote of thanks to Messrs J. M. Ritchie and A. W. Buzan and Mrs M. Gunnion for donations and to Messrs M. E. Hill, A. Cain and D. Reid for equipment, was passed. At the conclusion of the meettag a presentation to Miss B. Reid, in view of her approachtag marriage, was made by Miss Coral Norton. In presenting a dining room clock from members, Miss Norton wished Miss Reid good health and happiness. FIJI WOMEN’S TOUR By Telegraph —Press Association WELLINGTON. June 10. Tire itinerary arranged by the New Zealand Women’s Hockey Association for the Fijian women’s team is announced. The team arrives at Auckland on July 6, plays Wairarapa on July 8, Wellington Province on July 11, Eastern at Gore on July 15, Otago at Dunedin on July 18. South Canterbury at Timaru on July 22, test at Wellington on July 25. Wairoa on July 29, Poverty Bay on August 1, Bush at Eketahuna on August 5, Wanganui on August 8, Feilding on August 16, and Auckland Province on August 15.
