WEEKLY MATCHES TIMARU CLUB The second shoot counting for the Timaru Club championship was fired on Tuesday evening. The scoring was only moderate, W. Duncan with 79 annexing the silver rifle for the second time in succession. Seven members tied for the week's prize with possibles (including handicaps), these were W. Bradshaw, W. Duncan, W. Heads, H. Smith, W. Thomas, H. Pike, M. Walker, the prize going to W. Thomas under the graduated test. Scores off the rifle were:—W. Duncan 79, W. Bradshaw 78, W. Heads 77, W. Thomas 77, M. FAIRVIEW CLUB At the weekly shoot of the Fan-view Miniature Rifle Club, the scores were: S. Toms 77, E. Rooney 76, B. Dale 75, W. Jackson 74, Mrs Brown 73, B. Dunnill 73, J. Husband 73, N. FAIRLIE CLUB Shooting on Monday evening showed a great improvement on previous weeks. The best scores off the rifle were: W. Whitehead 77, W. Dorman 77, A. Shute 77, W. Close 76, R. Ferguson 76, E. Berry 75, S. Guard 74, W. H. Cook 72, Miss Gray 72, V. Braddick 70, B. Welsh 70, J. Riddle 69, W. P. Morton 67, R. Mallett 67 and A. Millett 65.. In the shoot off, seven members tied, making the possible with a handicap. After the third round Miss Gray won the trophy while W. Dorman was the winner of the weekly button. ARUNDEL CLUB The weekly shoot of the Miniature Rifle Club was held in the Howard Hall on Tuesday evening, the following being the scores: A. Lewis 75, J. Harris 74, A. McCully 73, C. Good 72, J.
