PLUNKET SHIELD OTAGO HAS STIFF TASK By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, January 25. At stumps this evening Otago in its seccnd Innings against Wellington had lost five wickets for 158 runs. In the first innings Otago made 188. Wellington in its first innings knocked up 319 and in its second 168. Otago required 142 runs to gain a straight out win. Scores:—
Bowling.—Dickinson took two wickets for 71 runs, Badcock 4 for 91, Dunning 4 for 79, Smith none for 32, Elmes hone for 34. Second Innings.
Total 168 Bowling.— Dickinson took five wickets for 78 runs, Smith one for 18, Badcock two for 34, Dunning two for 34.
