The Miners’ Council to-day endorsed the decisions of the Conference of Mining Unions to hold aggregate meetings in all the coalfields throughout Australia on Wednesday to decide whether the miners favour a general stoppage in sympathy with the striking seamen. If the vote is in favour of stoppage, the production of coal will probably cease on Friday.
