Dewar, Skinner, Toneycliffe 19. Kebby (s), Knott, Obom, Arthur 20; Millar (s), Peebles, Wilcox, Howe 17. Manning (s), Moyes, J. Home, Symonds 19; Cowles (s), R. Millar, Stevens, Gilmore 16. Totals: Timaru 53; Park 52. The final head was most exciting. Neither skip could decide which was the third shot, and the umpire was called upon to give a decision, which resulted in favour of Timaru.
