The exhibits at the exhibition of the Royal Academy include the painting by the New Zealand artist, Mr Chas. Goldie, of a drowsy Maori chief in European dress. The New Zealander, Mr Oswald Birley, displays a presentation portrait of Sir James Crichton Browne.
