RETAIL SALES SLIGHTLY INCREASED British Official Wireless (Received May 2, 5.5 p.m.) RUGJ3Y, May 1. The money value of the retail trade sales in March, 1935, was only 0.6 per cent, higher than March, 1934. The later fall of Easter this year delayed the pre-holiday business. The expansion for February and March sales exceeded those of the corresponding period last year by 2.5 per cent. Employment at the end of March was 1.6 per cent, greater than a year ago.
