SAFE BLOWN
THIEF SECURES £IOO By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, April 1. By using explosives on the lock of a safe in Mr W. Williamson’s office, Montreal Street, last night or early this morning, an expert cracksman secured a haul of £IOO in silver and notes. The charge of gelignite shattered the lock on a four inch steel door, and left the burglar free access to the contents of the safe. Only money was taken; no papers were interfered with.
