DAILY SERVICES IN ENGLAND REMARKABLE GROWTH OF AIR BUSINESS British Official Wireless (Received March 14, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, March 13. A daily air service between London and Edinburgh, via Leeds and New-castle-on-Tyne, will be operated from the beginning of next month by the North-Eastern Airways. The company proposes to use Airspeed Envoy bi-motor aeroplanes, and in view of their cruising speed of about 150 miles ‘an hour, the journey between Heston Airport on the outskirts of London and the terminus in Scotland is expected to take 22 hours, including intermediate stops. The return fare between London and Edinburgh will be £lO and the single fare £5/14/-, both inclusive of ground transport between the centre of the cities and the aerodromes.

United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 13. Weather at Malta further delayed the Australian air mail, which will be delivered to-morrow, three days late. The mail from Croydon on March 9, left Brindisi to-day, after awaiting the flying-boat from Alexandria. It will be four days late at Alexandria, because it is flying via Malta.
