AROWHENUA NATIVE SCHOOL
The annual meeting of householders of the Arowhenua Native School was held on Wednesday evening, Mr L. Hopkinson presiding. The annual report stated that several social evenings had been held during the year to raise funds for carrying out improvements. There was a small credit balance. Officers elected were:—Chairman. Mr L. Hopkinson; secretary, Mr W. Mihaka; treasurer, held in abeyance: committee, Mesdames J. Wade and B. Solomon, and Mr P. Paipeta.
