Among the many and lasting improvements for the new St. Paul’s Church building, the memorial windows bear evidence of his zeal. Less than two weeks ago he paid a visit to Waimate in company with the Rev. J. H. Haslam and the Rev. G. F. Stockwell both aks former ministers at St. Paul’s, and ffii’ J q!ccupied the pulpit at that churdvoft the Sunday evening. DurifiJ his stay in Waimate Mr Scott was ah enthusiastic member of the Waimate Rugby Football Referees’ Association and he had charge of many important matches. In addition he was an enthusiastic supporter and worker, especially amongst the young people, of other branches of sport on which he left a definite mark to their adV& On behalf of the citizens of Waimate the Mayor (Mr G.
