SERIOUS FIRE
WOOL AND DAIRY PRODUCE DESTROYED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 13, 8 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 13. A disastrous fire occurred in the premises of the Western and Murry Co-operative Bacon and Meat Packing Company Limited, in Flinders Lane. Two hundred bales Of wool worth £2400 were destroyed, in addition to a large quantity of dairy produce. The fire was checked before it reached 20,000 bales of wool.
