HINT OF COMPULSORY TRAINING United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, March 12. The Federal Government does not propose to reintroduce compulsory military training for at least another two years. The Ministry indicated that the money available for the rehabilitation of defences in the next few years can better be used on the permanent establishment than in attempting to rebuild a partly trained citizen force, under the compulsory system. The ultimate restoration of compulsory training, however, is one of the objectives of the defence policy.
