SWIMMING SPORTS Pupils of the Pleasant Point District High School yesterday took part in their first swimming sports in the Temuka Domain Baths, the officials b-'ng members of the staff and School Committee and parents of the children. At the conclusion of the sports the chairman of the School Committee (Mr W. B. Oborn) thanked the Temuka Domain Board for the use of the baths, Mr J. C. Hayhurst for judging the diving and Miss A. Oliver and Dr P. B. Benliam for trophies for the sports. The races had proved more interesting and popular than the officials had expected, and a very happy day had been spent.
