CELEBRATIONS BY INDIAN BOY SCOUTS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright CALCUTTA. March 10. Fifty thousand Boy Scouts in the Punjab Province are planning a unique celebration of the King’s Silver Jubilee. The Scouts will assemble at their respective headquarters and 1000 picked youths from Jive provincial divisions will carry loyal greetings in mile relays to Lahore from the most remote areas. The most arduous trek will be from Kylang. in Ladakh, where the runners will have to cross the snowcovered Himalayan passes, and others will have to swim the mighty Indus and traverse an arid sand desert. The messages will be handed to the Governor, Sir Herbert Emerson, Chief Provincial Scout, who will send them to the King by air mail.
