SHARK MENACE

Sharks were so prevalent during the week-end that the water had to be cleared at various times at eight beaches. The Hon E. S. Spooner intends to convene a conference of municipal councils to determine what are the best methods to combat the menace. The Ministry hopes that additional protection will be afforded bathers next season.
