In a women’s cricket match at Newcastle to-day England in the first innings made 184 for one wicket (declared) . Miss MacLagan scored 103 not out and Miss G. Morgan 78. Newcastle in the first innings have lost 6 wickets for 33 runs. Bowling, Miss Hide took three wickets for 10 runs, and Miss MacLagan three for 11. Rain stopped play and the match was drawn.
