FIVE O'CLOCK PARTY

Dr. and Mrs George Kingston gave a delightful five o’clock party at their home in Grey Road yesterday, in honour of Mr Edward Kerr, who will leave to-morrow to attend the Empire Press Conference in South Africa as one of the representatives of New Zealand. Mrs Kingston received her guests wearing a silk frock in shades of mole and white and a Leghorn hat with brown ribbon band.

The guests included Mr and Mrs E. G. Kerr, Mr and Mrs L. E. Finch, Mr and Mrs J. Temple, Mr and Mrs Eric Scott, Mr and Mrs Desmond Unwin, Mr and Mrs Keith de Castro, Misses Ziesler, Audrey Kemp, Dorothy Barron, Peggy Unwin, and Messrs M. Washbourn, J. Kerr and J. Mackay.
