The testimonial match, Australia v. The Rest, was continued to-day. A feature of the match so far has been the centuries of the two captains, Woodfull and Richardson. Richardson gaily hit up 107 to-day, hitting several sixes off Grimmett, but he changed his tactics when O’Reilly was put on. Nevertheless he reached the century in 123 minutes. Badcock, who partnered his captain, entered the scoring spirit until his career was ended by a superb catch by Chipperfield, who lived up to his reputation as a brilliant fieldsman.
