IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT MADE BY KING AID FOR PRINCESS MARINA United Press Association—By Electric Tel egraph Copy rlgh t LONDON, November 16. The King has appointed Lady Mary Dorothea Hope, daughter of Lord Linlithgow, as lady-in-waiting to Princess Marina. It is pointed out that such a post is only filled after the most careful consideration of several names which had been submitted to the King and Queen. Lady Mary’s task of accompanying Princess Marina’s first entry into society as a Royal Princess will be complicated owing to Princess Marina’s foreign extraction. Lady Mary will also be entrusted with the task of answering hundreds of letters and invitations to manifold functions.
