NEW ZEALANDERS’ VENTURE POSTPONED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 18, .30 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 18. Raymond Whitehead and Rex. Nicholl are not likely to leave before Monday, owing to the gale raging in the Tasman, while the weather along the coast of New South Wales is typical of midwinter. The violent rain squalls of the last twenty-four hours show no sign of abating. Whitehead has received a cable message from his mother in New Zealand wishing him luck. Many other similar messages have been received from the Dominion. PROSPECTS OF NEAR FUTURE REGULAR AIR SERVICE PREDICTED United Press Association—By Elect? it Telegraph —Copyright (Received November 18. 6.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 18. Mr L. Swan, secretary of the Auckland Aero Club, arrived by the Maunganui. He predicted a regular air service across the Tasman in the near future, the essential requirement, apart from suitable ’planes being a perfect system of directional radio.
