The police in seven eastern States have been ordered to search for a large lorry carrying 19,0001 b of scrap silver, valued at about 125,000 dollars, which was stolen while en route here from the Eastman Kodak Company plant at Rochester (New York). No word has been received from the lorry crew, which is now four days overdue. The metal was consigned to a refinery here, presumably to be smelted for delivery to the Federal Treasury under the nationalisation order.
