Three Spanish revolutionaries including Senor Juan Tirado (Socialist member of the Cortes) who have been taking refuge at Algarve, chartered a Portuguese sailing vessel to take them to Gibraltar. A Spanish police boat is alleged to have opened fire, while the vessel was still in Portuguese waters, killed the captain and captured the fugitives.
