TIMARU CLUB Handicaps for to-morrow’s cycle race have been declared as follows: — J. Cremin and W. R. Willmott, scr.; N. Heron, W. Hogg, and G. M. Annett, §min.; j. Metcalf, G. Metcalf, R. Brookland and D. Cremin, llmin.; J. Rae, W. Rae, C. Clarke, E. Allan, G. Pratt, and C. Johnson, 3imin.; J. Parfitt and I. Rawson, 43min.; P. Lithgow, R. Cowles, G. Sargison, E. Cuddy, C. Mitchell, 54mi:i.; H. Welford, W. Beswarick. Bert Peebles, L. Smith, Hopkins, C. H. Foley, ,C. Eathorne, E. Dunnell, and P. Gilmour, s>min.; G. Gudex, F. Tozer, J. Spillane, R. Spillane and R. Selbie, 6min. At a meeting of the club there were present.—Messrs W. R. Willmott (in the chair), N. Ford, T Stoddart, R. Rennett, C. H. Foley, G. Drew, F. Tozer, J. Davey, R. Slade, G. V. Tozer. G. M. Annett, who won the club’s event on November 3 was suspended for that race through having in his entry stated that he had no performances, whereas he had ridden on several occasions and had been placed. The placings are now E. Allen 1, I. Rawson 2, J. Parfitt 3 and D. Cremin will take second fastest time. The points for the Cycle Trades Shield are now as follows: —I. Ford 4, E. Allan 4, I. Rawson 3, I. Smart 2, W. R. Willmott 2, J. Cremin 2, G. Young 1, D. Cremin 1, J. Parfitt 1. A motion was passed that all riders be warned against taking motor pace. It was also decided that riders remove their numbers as soon as they cease to take part in a race. Mr C. H. Foley was thanked for supplying the material for 50 numbers and Mr G. Drew, for attending to the printing of them. The race to-morrow will not be run to Winchester and back, but will be run round the Seadown block to Hedley’s corner, thence to the main road and home twice, a distance of 20 miles.
