LIFTING OF EMBARGO FAVOURED By Telegraph— Pres? Association WELLINGTON, November 1. Mr H. S. S. Kyle, on behalf of the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee, reported to the House to-day on the petition praying for the removal of the embargo on the importation of livestock from Britain. The Committee recommended that, in view of the stringent quarantine regulations in force both in New Zealand and Britain, the petition be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. The report was tabled.
