Joe Kirkwood and Gene Sarazen have decided to play an exhibition match on Saturday, notwithstanding the Victorian Golf Association’s threat to exclude them from the Centenary Tournament if they do. The Association Is determined to enforce the threat, claiming that it has spent £4OOO in promoting the tournament and the exhibition is likely to affect attendances.
