D.H. COMET LEAVES BAGHDAD
LAST STAGE OF FLIGHT COMMENCED United Press Association—By Etectnc Telegrapti—Copyright (Received October 31, 11.59 p.m.) BAGHDAD, October 31. Ken Waller and Cathcart Jones, flying the D.H. Comet, arrived at Karachi at 6.25 last night (Eastern Standard time), and left for Baghdad at 1.35 a.m. Their departure was delayed owing to engine trouble.
Mr and Mrs Mollison sportingly agreed to give Messrs Waller and Jones a cylinder out of their own Comet, ir_order that the Englishmen might succeed in the effort to beat the record for the return trip.
Arrival at Baghdad.
Ken Waller and Cathcart Jones ar rived here at 4.7 and left at 5.02 a.m.
